Just a heads up if you see one of these things. Run away. :)
So a newer field tech brings this little mixer/chopper in to the shop from a good customer's friend. Got a non-responding "pulse" pushbutton.
Tech says it's a RobotCoupe and should be still under warrantee, looks like new.
Hokay, let's see here, MagiMix by RobotCoupe. Never have seen one like this. Get model and serial number to see what the warrantee period is from the manufacturer. Hmmm, no serial anywhere. Model is on the bottom, along with "Williams Sonoma". 5200XL. And "Not for commercial use".
Uh-oh. Call RoboCoupe. Oh man, he says, those are units direct from France, we don't have anything to do with them, have no docs, no parts, but they have a web page, blah, blah, blah.
The web page under the service link, is much less than useless. Basicaly an email address.
Packed the unit back in the box he brought it in with, printed out the MagiMix web page and suggested he bring it back to Williams Sonoma for service.
