I have a Hitachi SB10Y benchtop belt & disc sander. Today, it won't start properly.
Turn it on: It hums.
But, I can get it to work if I turn it on, then manually spin the wheel fast.
Is this a capacitor problem? More importantly though, if I just live with it this way (which is completely OK) is it going to do any harm? (fire hazard, etc) (I won't hold you liable)
