So we had a flood. Sadly the water heater was under 2' of water for a few days.
I took the Honeywell controler apart to find the board pretty green. Ordered a new valve/controller and installed it.
Turned on the water heater, inducer fan started and the auto spark was sparking away, but no flame.
Took burner completely out and blew out the pilot tube and main gas line with the air compressor and reinstalled. Same outcome.
Led flashes 6 times to indicate flame failure.
The LED doesn't indicate any issues with the flammable vapor sensor.
What would cause a brand new valve to not allow pilot gas to flow?
