I have a Water Furnace System ( 3 ton main plus 2 ton attic split ).
My hot water assist is to a 60 gal 1st tank .... with the "hot water" output of the tank going to the "cold" inflow of the 2nd tank - a regular electric 60 gal tank.
During the winter, this 1st tank ran between 80 and 100 degrees.
Now with the AC season, there seems to be no extra heat.
The hotwater assist pipes remain cool, even with the AC on.
I would have thought the AC season would make available more heat to the assist water jacket.
Am I misunderstanding the therory ?
Can there be a hook up ( or setting ) error ?
Thanks for any thoughts
