I have a CA return in the ceiling of our finished basement. It's a 5" duct running to a 4x10 register. My thoughts are that it would be better placed near the floor (am I wrong in thinking this?). Is there any issue with adding an additional vent near the floor or would I be better off just capping the vent that is there now and relocating it?
