I am amazed by critical charging. Weigh it in. SO explain how a 4 head Fijitsu split hold 6 lb 3 oz and is good for so many feet with out adding x oz. Doesn't matter if you use 1 or 4 heads.
Then the Hosi ice machine with a remote condenser. lets say 9 lbs than the remote is 6 feet away.
American Standard A C condenser. Precharged with 8lb 3.5 oz. good for up to 38 ft 2 inches. You only need a 20 ft run. But it isn't overcharged? Yes I know superheat/subcooling, dial it in. Some A C's even recommends sub cooling. But what is so critical?
